Life as I see it in India has not changed much. You will still find familiar combination of richness and poverty although the middle band has stretched out aggressively in these past few years that I spent in the USA.
India is remarkable. Politics, cricket and Bollywood rules all over. Every morning, I go brisk-walking to a near-by Tula Ram Park. All I see is a few RSS members hosting a meeting and vouching for the country's safety but no one, absolutely none even a bit interested in physical activities. Does it mean at least a few go to the gym? Oh yes! Early mornings are for local body builders and then a few housewifes.
Let me deviate a bit... My son, Vijay Krishna, is now 1+ years old and has accelerated his learning process since we returned to India...thanks to his grand parents and the tenant's kids.
Life has been rough since we returned here..job search has been very slow. There seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel. Lets see if something works out soon.
A new life in a new city will establish our life in India. Little dreams, little hopes and a better India is all I wish for at the moment.
